Hazel Tatum Mayes

Hazel Tatum Mayes, age 85, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Mayes. Survivors include her children, John and (Teresa) Mayes of Atlanta, Melinda and (Ronnie) Padgett of Lilburn; grandchildren, Kirsten and Todd Nash, Amber Abrams, Nathan Padgett, Meredith and Robby Johnston, Dalton Mayes, Carolina Mayes; great grandchildren, Wesley, Atticus, Alivia, Killian; sisters, Bobbie Pilcher of Mableton, Patsy McGhee of Cumming; sister-in-law, Brenda Mayes of Valdosta and the care giving team at Sunrise at Webb Ginn. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from noon to 2 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
