Helen Major Dickson

Helen Major Dickson, age 84, formerly of Marietta, GA, passed away on October 5th, 2021. She was a Forsyth County native. Helen was a restaurant owner, worked as an insurance manager for Combined Insurance, and worked at Kroger as a manager in the deli department. She is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony (Retha) Godfrey; father and mother, H.C. and Ina Mae Major; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Harold (Katherine) Major, Jimmy (Jane) Major.

She is survived by her husband, John Dickson; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn (Ken) Mowery; grandsons, Luke (Cara) Mowery, Daniel (Alyssa) Mowery, Joseph Mowery; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Millie) Major; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 8th, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Scott Gilbert and Rev. Dusty Holtzclaw officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Daves Creek Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
