Herbert R. Davis

Herbert R. Davis, age 91, of Newnan, formerly of Cumming, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church Cumming. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Frances Davis of Newnan, formerly of Cumming; children, Ray and Sherry Davis of Sharpsburg, Nancy and Larry Carroll of Jefferson; granddaughters, Angela and Neal Spradlin of Sharpsburg, Jennifer and Chad Connelly of Concord, NC, Alicia and Bryan Hamrick of Jefferson, Kathryn and Barry Garmon of Jefferson; 12 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 24th at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bob Jolly officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
