Herbert T. Barrett

Herbert T. Barrett, age 86, of Cumming, passed away on February 16, 2016. Herbert attended Greater Heights Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Annie Barrett; sons, Johnny and Ricky Barrett; brothers, Paul, Dewitt, and Silas Barrett. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Barrett of Cumming; children, Barbara Denny of Dawsonville, Martha and Danny Martin of Cumming, Ben and Tracey Barrett of Conyers, Doug and Gina Barrett of Tucker, Mary and Hector Ybarra of Cumming, Connie and Dennis Lee of Alpharetta, Dottie and Allen Leist of Statham, DeAnne and David Puckette of Hoschton; brother, Joe Barrett of Dawsonville; sister, Annie Mae and Carl Garmon of Johns Creek; 28 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Radford Brownlee officiating. The interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2016, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Friday, from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
