Mr. Herman Thomas Maddox, age 74, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Maddox; daughters, Denise Flynn and Brenda Park and grandson, David Mason. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Dennis Kent of Woodstock, Charlotte and Paul Yarger of Cumming; Sherry and Jerry Coker of Woodstock, Melissa and Michael Kimbrell of Woodstock, Beverly and Lance Nied of Buford; sons, Chuck Maddox of Marble Hill and Robbie Maddox of Cumming; son-in-law, Ray Park of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Ross Sumner of Mentone, AL and Lorraine and Cooper Baxter of Hiawassee; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.T. and Evelyn Maddox of Alpharetta and Harold and Barbara Maddox of Adairsville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eugene and Rene Garmon of Coral Springs, FL; 19 grandchildren, Dedra Blair, Holly Oglesby, Jenna Kent, Travis Kent, Malinda Ball, Paul Yarger, Jr., Chris Tapp, Lindsay Coker, Lauren Coker, Matthew Coker, Amanda King, Jeremy Barrett, Joseph Park, Christian Park, Brandy Clifford, Heather Scruggs, Josh Roberts, Chase Nied, Taylor Maddox; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Stapp officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends, Friday, April 16th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Saturday, April 17th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, April 18th from 11:00 am until the hour of service.
