Herman Eugene Manzer

Herman Eugene Manzer, age 90, of Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025. He was born on September 16, 1934, and lived a life full of service, love, and faith. Herman is survived by his devoted wife, Silver Romans of Georgia; his daughter, Nena Chadwick of Arkansas; sons, Travis Manzer and Wesley Manzer of Wisconsin; daughter, Ronda Shaw of Tennessee; and daughter, Regan Case of Georgia. He was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Norman Manzer, his daughter, Robin McDaniel and great-grandson Bennett Eberly.

Herman proudly served in the United States Navy as an Electrician during the Korean War, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong career as an electrician, later serving in the Merchant Marines. His unwavering faith in God and his commitment to sharing his Christian testimony with others was one of his greatest passions, as he sought to bring others to Christ throughout his life. He loved to hunt, fish and camp outdoors since he was a young boy, and was an excellent marksman.

Herman will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA February 10th at 2:00 pm. where he will join those who have gone before him in service to our country.

He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his service to others, and his faith in God, which he shared so freely with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and devotion.

Rest in peace, Herman. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
