Herschel A. Storch

Herschel A. (Hal) Storch, 90, of Roswell passed peacefully on December 23rd, 2010. He is survived by his wife Linda H. Storch; son, Carl A. Storch; stepsons, Brent Allen and Troy Tully; stepdaughters, Joy Lynn Johnson and Jane Duryea; sister, Sharon Varni; brother, William Storch; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A longtime business owner, he moved from Houston, TX in 1981 to Atlanta where he purchased and ran Specialty Mailers Envelope Co. until his retirement. He was born in Yale, OK, and grew up in Lincoln, NE.

After WWII he relocated to San Francisco where he lived and worked until 1972. As a member of the US Coast Guard he was at Pearl Harbor on December 7th and was also present in Tokyo Bay for the Japanese surrender in 1945.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Byars Funeral Home & Cremation Services, a Veterans Family & Memorial Care Provider is in charge of the arrangements.
