Herschel Baron Brown

Herschel Baron Brown, age 55, of Suwanee passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Herschel was a loving husband and father with a quiet, dry sense of humor. A private man, he loved animals, reading, following politics and was dedicated to his physical fitness. Herschel loved visiting the mountains and the ocean. He was employed with Macy's Systems and Technology for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Sidney Brown. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Alyson (Aly) Brown; daughters, Katie Brown and Claire Brown; a son, Justin Brown; mother, Paulette Brown; brother, Russell Brown; his dogs, Peaches and Mango, his cats, Jasper, Luna and Salt. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Browns Bridge Church with Pastor Andy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to NAMI Georgia.
