Holin Prater

Holin Prater, age 82, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. Holin graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile, AL. He attended Marion Institute in Marion, AL. Holin then served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. He was a mechanical draftsman and pipe designer for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Prater; parents, Kenneth and Faerie Prater; sister, Sylvia Prater Backer; and brother, Jack Prater.

Survivors include his children, Pamela Prater (Bill) Axley, and Michael Holin Prater; brother, Charlie (Fran) Prater; and 2 grandchildren, Holin Grey Axley and Kendell Erin Axley.
