Horace Jerome Gooch

Horace Jerome Gooch age 64 of Cumming passed away Friday March 3rd, 2017 after a sudden illness. Horace was born in Dahlonega, Ga, but had lived in Forsyth County, Ga for the past 50 years. He is preceded in death by his Parents Garland and Leila Gooch, Sister Faye Babb and Brother Michael Gooch. He is Survived by Sisters and Brother In Law Mildred Schaide of Dawsonville, Ga , Janet Smith of Douglasville, Ga , Lana & Doug Thompson, Debbie & Larry Chumbler all of Cumming, Brother In Law Jerry Babb of Hartwell, GA, Brothers & Sisters In Law Delton & Mildred Gooch of Nelson, Ga , Russell Gooch, Dale Gooch of Cumming, Ga , Greg & Vickie Gooch of Cumming, Ga. Special Friend Mary Mathis and Several Nieces and Nephews. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday March 7th at 1 PM at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, Ga with Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity in Horace's honor. Byars Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
