Howard W. Phillips

Howard W. Phillips, age 83 of Cumming, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Howard worked for General Motors at the Doraville Plant and retired after 31 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Lucille Phillips of Cumming; children, Tim and Wanda Phillips of Snellville, Sara and Tom Harness of Winder, John and Andrea Phillips of Oroville, CA; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Cofer and Rev. Steve Severs officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Duluth. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:30 am until hour of the service.
