Hurchel C. Major

Hurchel C. Major, of Cumming, passed away on January 20, 2014. He worked at Cumming Hardware for over 20 years and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Freehome, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Elouise Collett Major, brothers JM Major, Jerry Major and sister Marie Sneed. He is survived by sisters Lois Yarbrough, Irene Yarbrough, and brother Kenneth Major, daughters and son-in-law Jannie Major, Judy Major, Sarah Heard and Gary I. Martin, and son and daughter-in-law Joel and Dee Major, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-children, and many other relatives and friends. The funeral will be Thursday January 23, at 11am, in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd McGee and Rev. Ronnie Waters officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday January 21, 9am-9pm, Wednesday January 22, 9am-9pm, and 9am on Thursday January 23 until time of service.
