Irene Myrtie Mills Hamby

Mrs. Irene Myrtie Mills Hamby, age 78, a native of Forsyth County passed away Friday, November 12, 2010. Irene was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, J.L. Hamby and great grandson, Charles Tate Todd. She is survived by her children, Opal and Sam Dodd of Canton, Judy Worley of Cumming, Rex and Kim Hamby of Dawsonville, Ricky Hamby Sr. of Cumming; sixteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Clarence and Imogene Mills of Baldwin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Irene and Bob McKinney of Loganville, Helen Hansen of Kansas, Louise and Oliver Kelly of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 15, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Garry English officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Monday , November 15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
