Ivan Lee Martin

Ivan Lee Martin, age 82 of Cumming, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. He was a license Baptist Minister for 52 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents James Ewell and Margie McConnell Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Florine and Walton Chadwick; granddaughter, Chay White; brother-in-law, Sid Cowan. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jerlene Padgett Martin. He is also survived by his seven children, Gary I. Martin and Sarah Heard, Deborah and James Bearden, Rev. Richard and Joan Martin, Rev. Keith and Lisha Martin, Denease and Barry Yearwood, Jeff and Helen Martin, Danette and Shane White; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Imogene Bowers, Betty Johnson and Lynn Bottoms, Hoyt and Gwen Padgett, Mary Cowan, Patricia and Brent Chamlee, Danny and Kathy Padgett; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Cowart and Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow at Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am until hour of the service.
