Iven Douglas Todd, Age 77, entered his eternal rest on July 7, 2018.
He was born July 19 1940 in Atlanta Georgia. The son of Roger Douglas Todd and Edna Bullard Todd. He graduated from Southwest DeKalb high school in 1958. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Thalya Wofford Todd, his son James Douglas Todd & Daughter in law, Gina Todd. Iven was an expert marksman and proud veteran of the US MC from 9/5/1958-7/18/1965. A lifelong member of Mableton Lodge No. 171- free and accepted Masons, A committed friend to supporting fundraisers for children with needs, an avid supporter of breast cancer research centers, ASPCA and local animal shelter funding. Iven was a very talented and skilled craftsmen, building his family's first home in Mableton Georgia completing in 1975 and their current residence in Gainesville Georgia completing in 1988. Iven was a very dedicated husband and loving father to his son, Doug and daughter-in-law. He enjoyed the years of riding motorcycles with his wife and very close friends across our U.S. land, traveling the world, making unforgettable memories. His life was full of joy always entertaining his retired days at hunting camp, a.k.a. the "Boys club", Car shows, always optimistic to find a new drive... One certainty, Dad was a man who loved his country, our military men and women who have and continue to defend our freedom. Never are they forgotten, prayers always given to "watch over and bring them home safe".
He will be missed Unmeasurably.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Christ Culture Center, 315 Kelly Mill Road, Cumming, Georgia at 11:00 a.m.
