J B Evans, age 87, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. J B is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Ella Free Evans; brother, Manuel Evans; sister, Ruthie Cranford; and grandson, Jas Henderson. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Nellie Cranford Evans of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Evans Henderson and Jim Henderson of Ball Ground; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lisa Evans of Cumming; grandchildren, Scott and Andy Henderson of Sandy Springs, Blake and Kayla Evans of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Kate Evans of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Daisy Evans of Cumming, Ruby and Melvin Nichols of Cumming, Thelma Nichols of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Rev. Samuel Cranford of Dawsonville, R.V. Cranford of Dawsonville, Maggie Cranford of Dawsonville, Robert and Mary Free of Cumming, Susie Moore of Dawsonville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February10, 2011, at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Evans, Rev. Brandon Benefield and Rev. Shannon Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
