Jack Donald Andrews, age 87, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born in 1934, to the late Herbert and Imogene Andrews. Jack was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA. He was co-owner of Andrews and Holtzclaw store in Cumming. After the store closed, he enjoyed working part-time at Ingram Funeral Home until his health began to decline. He enjoyed going on car rides and traveling to Pigeon Forge, TN. He was a quiet man who was always there when needed, first to help and never complained about anything.
He is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, Linda Wilkie Andrews; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tim Tankersley; grandchildren, Jordan and Anna McBrayer; siblings, Jerry and Debbie Andrews and Gene and Wilma Jean Andrews Holtzclaw; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Dean Lewis and Buren and Betty Wilkie; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Gary Moore and Rev. Jerry Frazier officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Piedmont United Methodist Church.
