Jackie Lamar Garmon

Jackie Lamar Garmon, age 75, of Cumming, GA, passed away on August 23, 2022.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Jackie was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  Jackie enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and time outdoors.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ilene Garmon; wife, Rita Garmon; son, Greg Garmon.

He is survived by his sons, Byron (Wanda) Garmon, Randy (Lisa) Garmon, David (Christy) Watson; daughter, Amy (Jason) Murphy; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Holbrooks, Marsha Phillips, Karen Majors; brother, Larry Garmon; his dog Mo.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Kirk and Rev. Dana Overton-Garrett officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from the hours of 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 3140 Pleasant Grove Rd, Cumming, GA 30028.
