Jackie Hugh Frix, age 63, a native of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010. A member of Ophir Baptist Church, Jackie loved tractors, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Adoness and Jewell Frix. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Faye Frix of Forsyth County; children, Neva and Michael Fisher of Edgemoor, SC, Amy and Jeremy Cash, Philip and Casey Frix and Jamie Frix, all of Forsyth County; sister and brother-in-law, Willie Grace and Emmett Samples of Forsyth County; nieces and nephews, April, Jimmy and Raven Samples, Donnie and Donna Stancil, Gloria and Ashley Stancil and Mary and Madison Samples; an uncle, Colonel McClure of Florida; and an aunt, Louise Pugh of Cumming. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Ophir Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Boling, Rev. Terry Cowart and Rev. Jimmy Samples officiating. Interment will follow in Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Tuesday, October 5, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 7, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
