Jacquelyn Blissett Tanner

Jacquelyn Blissett Tanner, age 71, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming where she sang in the choir and was in the Ruth Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her son, James Alfred Tanner Jr. and her parents, James and Nell Blissett.

Jackie is survived by her daughter and son in law, Amy and Benjamin Rutledge of Cumming; grandchildren, Valor and Honor Rutledge; sister, Linda Dickerson of Snellville, brother and sister in law, James and Marsha Blissett of Fuquay Varina, NC; nephews, Eric (Wendy) Blissett, Daniel Dickerson; nieces, Kim Dickerson Morrell, Stacey (Terry) Boyd, Michell (Scott) Mackie, Cheryl Tanner and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jackie will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Cumming, http://www.firstbaptistcumming.org/ with Rev. Scott Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. The family will have a private inurnment in the spring.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Kids Building Fund in memory of Jackie.
