Jamae H. Martin

Jamae H. Martin, age 92, of Cumming, passed away on April 2, 2016. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Hammond and Ruby Holbrook Hammond; husband, Benjamin Lawrence Martin; siblings, Katie Lee Wheeler, Marie Hammond, Henry Haward Hammond, Velma Dot Jackson, and Barbara Jean Martin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Cynthia Martin; daughter, Susan J. Martin; brothers and sister-in-law, Guye Hugh Hammond, James William and Cheryl Hammond; grandchildren, Gregory L. and Stephanie Martin, Melissa M. and Kurt Steinbrueck; great grandchildren, Noah L. Martin, Kaylee M. Steinbrueck. The family would like to express their love and appreciation to 2 special caregivers, Sue Hamby and Angie Denard. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:30 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Meredith and Rev. Kurt Steinbrueck officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
