James (Jim) Madison Clark died November 21, 2020 from complications related to his diagnosis of dementia. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Juanice Chalker Clark; son, Mike Clark of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Madonna Decker (husband, Dick Decker) of Cumming, GA; daughter, Lisa Warren (husband, Tom Warren) of Cumming, GA daughter, Tricia White (husband, Barry White) of Marietta, GA; and sister, Betty Caviness (husband, Jim Caviness) of Suwanee, GA.
Jim had 12 grandchildren - Micah, Jonathan, Matthew (Jia), Dannah (Sam), Chandler (Kacey), Joshua (Nicole), Connor, Harrison, Hayden, Caroline, Catherine and Courtney and 5 great grandchildren. The grandchildren all loved Paw Paw very much and have so many fond memories - climbing the large magnolia tree in their yard, riding on his tractor, swimming, Saturday morning garage sales, trips to his farm (The Ponderosa) and making ice cream with him and Mee Maw.
Jim grew up in Avera, Georgia, and after a time in the Army moved to Atlanta to start a new life. In 1959, he founded Chamblee Fence Company and his son, Mike, still runs the business in his footsteps. Jim loved to work and instilled in all his children a legacy of integrity and a strong work ethic. But most important, Jim loved Jesus. Every day you could hear him praying out loud in his bedroom, asking for God's guidance in his life. It is with a strong assurance that we know that his is with his Lord and his Mom and Dad and all that have gone before him.
Graveside services, officiated by Rev. Bobby Gastley will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens.
