James Hoyt Sams

James Hoyt Sams, age 82 of Cumming, GA passed away Sunday, March 01, 2015.

Mr. Sams was born on May 13, 1932 in Forsyth County, GA to the late Hurshel Sams and Alice Callahan Sams. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Monteen Key Sams; his daughters, Betty Holder, Barbara Rockmore, Judy Little, and Rita Mealor; his sons, Ralph Sams and Robert Sams; a brother Herbert Sams; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled of 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Abundant Life Baptist
Church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Byars Funeral Home from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday just prior to the service.
