JAMES MARVIN BUTLER II
James (lil'' James) Marvin Butler 24, of Kennesaw Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 6th from injuries sustained from a fatal car accident.
James was born in Marietta Georgia at Kennestone hospital to parents James Marvin Butler and
Pamela Cloud on November 11, 1991. He spent his childhood in Dawsonville Georgia where he
had memories of riding his bike around the neighborhood with his brothers Nick and Johnny and
playing football with friends. James was especially fond of the times with his father and siblings
during their trips to Dallas Dragway.
James had a strong zest for life and lived fully every day. He was an avid fan of the Ralph
Lauren Polo clothing line and the Atlanta Braves. He could always be seen in a Polo shirt and
Atlanta hat hence his second nickname "Polo". His family and friends describe him as
"outgoing", "loving" "compassionate" and at times "goofy". He enjoyed time at the range with
his father, boxing, wrestling with his friends, riding his motorcycle and playing with his dog
Ralph who passed earlier this year.
James had a smile that warmed the hearts of all who knew him but there was one smile that
warmed James heart like no other could. The highlight of his life was the birth of his daughter
Kylee Lynn Butler on June 20, 2013. His love for her was life changing.
James is survived by his Father James Marvin Butler and wife LezlieAnn, brothers Nathan Klein,
Nick Butler and wife Zora, Jonathan Butler, sisters Leanna Butler, Audrey Butler, and
Grandparents Jimmie and Edith Butler. Also survived by Uncle Michael Butler and wife Heidi,
and numerous cousins.
His closest friends also his pallbearers are Dillon Blalock, Jeff Parks, Chad York, Cameron York,
Brayden Seagroves, Mikey Gaub. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Trinity Worship Center in Cumming, Georgia at 2:00 p.m. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
