James Allen Holtzclaw

James Allen Holtzclaw, or as most people called him, Popcorn lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, April 6th, 2020. He fought until the very end and passed peacefully with his wife beside him. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. Friends of his were always greeted with a warm smile and sometimes hed answer his phone by saying Jellybeans. There was never a dull moment in his presence and friends of his can fondly recall him throwing his head back and howling to the sky yelling Nature Boy. Popcorn lived his life to the fullest and loved his family fiercely. His family knew how much he loved them and how proud he was of them. He was never shy of telling the ones closest how much they meant to him. He was always willing to offer a kind word or a helping hand to anyone. He also knew our Lord and Savior and was looking forward to being reunited with his granddaughter Aubrey in Heaven along with other family members who have already went Home before him. Popcorn will be missed immensely but his family knows hes no longer suffering or in pain. At this time, the family is having a private viewing and service due to current situations but plan to hold a celebration of life in the near future. He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Holtzclaw; brother, Jerry and David Holtzclaw; and granddaughter, Aubrey McManama

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Holtzclaw; mother, Annie Holtzclaw; children, Ashley (James) McManama, Tammy Donnelly, and Shana (Charles) Haney; siblings, Billy Holtzclaw, Eddie Holtzclaw, and Vickie Neilser; and grandchild, Colton McManama; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A private funeral service will be held.
