James Braxton "Brock" III

James Braxton Smith, III, (Brock), 75, of Dawsonville, GA, was born on December 18, 1939 and passed away on June 16, 2015. Brock was born in Bradenton, FL and graduated from Manatee County High School in 1957. He was an active member of the Manatee County Boys Club and an avid outdoorsman. He received a degree from Florida Southern College and retired from Woolworth & Company. Brock continued to enjoy fishing and hunting locally until his last year. He is survived by his wife, Gail, son Michael (Kerry) Smith, daughter Stacey (Stephen) Vincent, granddaughter Ragan Smith, and five grandsons: Jackson Smith, Hudson Smith, Thomas Vincent, Jacob Vincent, and Oliver Vincent. He is also survived by his sister Lucretia (Billy) Brooks of South Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. Rev. Keith Ferguson will officiate.
