Mr. James E. Crowe Sr. of Cumming, Georgia, passed away March 17, 2024. James was originally from Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by Sharon Darlene Crowe, his beloved wife of fifty years. He was also preceded in death by his parents Edgar Wiley Crowe and Alice Crowe of Chattanooga, TN. He was the last remaining child of ten children.
James is survived by his children, James E. Crowe Jr. (wife, Julia), John Crowe (wife Jeannine) and Amanda Gresham (husband Taylor), as well as grandchildren, Ashley Crowe, James (“J.C.”) E. Crowe III (wife Bre), Emily Crowe, and great-grandchildren, Aiden Meyer and Haislee Crowe as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a welder and machinist by trade and taught at both Chattahoochee Technical College as well as South Cobb High School. James also worked as a salesman for a major welding supply company and later as a Field Service Technician for more than twenty years for a major ground construction equipment company before opening his own successful business, Nortech Enterprises in 2003 with his wife Darlene. James placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and is now home forever with his Lord and loved ones.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held April 7, 2024, at 3 P.M. at Hope Fellowship Church located at 6230 Matt Hwy. Cumming, Ga. 30028. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Fellowship building fund to help reach others for Christ.
