James Dale "Jim" Riggsby

James "Jim" Dale Riggsby, age 88, of Jonesboro, passed away on March 18, 2015. Jim loved to hunt, fish, golf, travel, and collect stamps. He was of the Methodist faith and belonged to First Methodist of Coral Springs, FL. Jim proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lee Riggsby; parents, Robert and Margaret Riggsby. James is survived by his son, James A. Riggsby of Harlingen, TX, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ron Greene of Jonesboro, GA; sisters, Margaret Savary, Helen McClellan and Dorothy Likens, all of Ohio; grandchildren, Lindsey Harte of Buford, Jeff Greene of Chicago; great grandchildren, Emma Harte, Noah Greene and Ellen Greene and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. Entombment services, with Military Honors, will be held Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum.
