James Donald "Jim" Garner Jr

James Donald Garner, 56, of Alpharetta passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 3rd, at 3:00 pm at St. Columba's Episcopal Church, 939 James Burgess, Road, Suwanee, GA 30024. Jim is survived by his wife Donna Cory, beloved daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Garner, parents James D. Sr and Ann Garner, brother Steve Garner, sister Alicia Polley (Paul), five nephews and a niece. Jim was active in his local church (St. Columba's Episcopal). He enjoyed motorcycling, camping, scuba diving, floating in the water, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Trigger. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Columba's Episcopal Church or the Forsyth County Humane Society. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
