James E. "Jim" Rogers

James E. (Jim) Rogers, age 60 , of Cumming, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and extraordinary man and a friend to anyone he met. His strengths were his faith and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jody Paul and Mittie Rogers; sister, Sharon. Survivors include his wife, Linda Rogers of Cumming; children, Deirdre and Ed DiMiranda of Jacksonville, FL, Nathan Rogers of Cumming, Joshua Rogers of Cumming, Laura and David Clement of Cumming, Amanda and Jonathan Duke of Dahlonega; sisters and brothers, Julia Faye Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Pat (Dan) Judy, Jean Sisson, Jerry (Debbie) Rogers, Matt Rogers all of Florida; grandchildren, Addison Clement, Gage Lathem, Aurora Duke, Hunter Duke, Edward, Sebastian and Francisco DiMiranda. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28th at 3:30 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Holland and Rev. Bill Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 1:00 pm until hour of the service.
