James Franklin (Frankie) Pruitt

James Franklin (Frankie) Pruitt, age 82, of Free Home, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Frankie was a member of Hightower Baptist Church in Ball Ground, GA. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking in his younger days. After many years he retired from the Advertising Department at Coca Cola Bottling Company.

Frankie was born to the late JC(Buck) Pruitt and Jessie Heard Pruitt on June 17, 1939 in Canton, GA.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Helen Mathis Pruitt; daughter, Lashelle (John) Thompson; grandchildren, Bryce (Sarah) Thompson, Whitley (Ben) Bechtel; great grandchildren, Acquinn (Quinn) James Thompson, Grady John Thompson, and Piper Lynn Bechtel; brothers, Gene (Norma Jean) Pruitt, Bill (the late Veda) Pruitt; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 22nd, at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie McCormick and Gerral Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA with Ben Bechtel officiating. The family has requested no visitation at this time.
