James G. Sutherland, 51, of Alpharetta, GA formerly of Sarasota died Dec. 3, 2011
A memorial service will be held at South Shore Community Church, 1899 S Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, FL at 11:00AM December 17th , with lunch to follow.

Jim attended Sarasota High School and graduated from Bradenton Christian School. He received a BS degree in accounting from Calvin College and a BS degree in computer science from Grand Valley State University, both in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He worked as an accountant for several companies in Sarasota and Alpharetta, GA.

Survivors include Susan Sutherland; daughter, Meagan; Sons, Cameron and Christian all from Alpharetta, GA. Father, Larry (Carol) Sutherland of Bradenton, Mother, Shirley Sutherland of Sarasota, Sister Lori (Howard) Carter of Pelham, GA, Step-brother Jesse (Beth) Sunday of Bradenton; Uncles, John (Gwen) Martin of Coloma, MI, Rex (Bonnie) Sutherland of Sarasota, Howard (Shirley) Sutherland of Sheridan, MI; Aunts, Audrey (Don) Larson of Loudon, TN, Sally (Roger) Eales of Sarasota; 2 nephews, 1 niece and many cousins.
