James Lenard Anglin, 72, of Alpharetta (Forsyth County) passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. James was the owner of Anglins Paint and Body Shop, where he was known for his detailed work and enjoyed having The Midway Boys hanging around, talking local gossip, shop talk and a whole lot of laughter and jokes. He was a very loyal and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Annette Cronan Anglin and his parents, Henry James and Leaunia Anglin.
Survivors include his children, Dwayne and Lisa Anglin of Dawsonville, Phyllis Anglin Jenkins of Alpharetta, Freddie Anglin of Chatsworth, Jimmy Anglin of Alpharetta; sister, Patti and Jerry Stancil of Cumming; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernie Worley officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday the hour prior to the service.
