James Lionel Sanders, Jr.

James Lionel Sanders, Jr. was born on February 29th, 1960 in Atlanta GA. He went to be with his Heavenly Father peacefully at his home on April 18th, 2022, after bravely battling ALS for over three years with his strong spirit and unwavering faith. 

James is preceded in death by his father, James Lionel Sanders, Sr. and mother, Jacqueline Loraine Sanders. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years: Belinda Marie Sanders; daughters:  Kathryn Lori Choate and husband, Blake Choate; Kala Sanders; sons: Dylan Sanders, Michael Young and wife, Sara, and Blake Young ; grandchildren: Ava, Alexa, Bryson, Hunter Choate, Mason, Jolei, and Hunter Young. He is also survived by brothers; John Allen wife Sarah, and Tommy Allen wife Reen, stepbrother: Jay and Virginia Pate and Aunt Barbara along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Jimmy was always willing to help anyone in need, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved golf, fishing, and Georgia football. He was one of the kindest people on earth and we are privileged that Heaven let us borrow him for 62 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 24th at 2:00 pm at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in his honor to The ALS Association, Georgia Chapter.
