James William Carroll

James William Carroll, age 95, of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. He attended the First Baptist Church of Cumming, GA. James retired from the United States Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ethel Carroll; sisters, Josephine Mabry and Helen Coultas; brothers, Charles, Howard and Frank Carroll, and son, Larry Carroll, and daughter-in-law Janis Carroll..

Survivors include his loving wife, Nellie Carroll; son, Jim Carroll; daughter-in-law Nancy Carroll, sister, Imogene Sims; grandchildren, Randy (Linda) Carroll, John (Kathy) Carroll, Alicia (Bryan) Hamrick, Katie (Barry) Garmon; 9 great grandchildren; and other loving relatives.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
