James Mark Wright

James Mark Wright, 65, of Cumming, GA passed on September 16th, 2022. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on May 3rd, 1957 to his late parents, James Addison Wright, and Virena Mae  Wright. He has worked as a department head at several Home Depot locations where he has made several friends, and has stepped in to ‘assist’ Santa during the holiday season.

He is survived by: his wife of 38 years, Tanya Leigh Wright, his two sons and their wives, James Malachi Wright (Ashley-Marie), and Lukas Aaron Wright (Lauralee Wilcox Iaquinto-), his sister and his brother-in-law, Jaele Ann Lockhart (Timothy Bryan), as well as many other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Lanier United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA (1979 Buford Highway, Cumming, GA 30041) on October 7th. Family will receive visitors starting at 4pm, with the service starting at 6pm. The family is requesting attendees wear Mark’s favorite attire; jeans, Hawaiian Shirts or Columbia PFG shirts, comfortable clothes.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society in honor of their beloved dog, Abby, that also passed, or to The Place thrift store in Forsyth.”
