Jamie Michelle Brown Gomez, 24, of Gainesville Ga. passed away Saturday Dec. 25 2010 at North Side Hospital in Cumming following a brief illness.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses 1279 Harmony Church Rd. Dawsonville, Georgia.

Jamie was born in Ocala, Florida on Feb. 22, 1986 and moved to Gainesville, Georgia with her parents, Clint and Kate Brown and brother, Jeff in 1987. Jamie has lived in the Gainesville and Dawsonville area until her death.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Abel Corona Gomez and son Gavriel M. Gomez of Gainesville; parents, Clint and Kate Brown of Dawsonville; brother, Jeff Brown (wife, Hannah) of Sarchi, Costa Rica; grandparents, W.B. and Marge Pafford of Dawsonville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Jamie was happy, had a beautiful smile and was always helping someone. She enjoyed music, drawing, dancing, hiking, the beach, her family and friends and especially her son Gavriel, who brought her the greatest source of joy.

Jamie dedicated her life to God and was baptized on Oct. 24, 1998 as one of Jehovahs Witnesses. She trusted in His promise of a resurrection on a paradise earth where there will be no more sickness, death, or suffering. She was also teaching her son to love God.
