Jane Park

Ode to Jane Park aka Janey Wales, Basketball shootin Lady Dawg, Cat Ranger(Crazy Cat Lady), Cowgirl Shootin (SASS),and also an IT Technologist and Friend....Yes, most of all...She will always be a friend! Jane crossed over during the night and left a big hole in all of our hearts. She was a selfless giving person who volunteered at Catrangers and loved every furry creature, but especially cats. She was a tall stately woman with a heart of gold but she kept her true self under lock and key and hid her illnesses and never reached out for the help she needed. She only learned how dear she was to everyone after she was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and could no longer hide it from us. Her friends poured into her Hospital room to be by her side...It was a lovely constant flow of people who adored her from all over the Southeastern US and Texas and Oklahoma. She was a great woman and we are all honored to have been able to call her a friend.

She is survived by her sister Lynn Anderson of Brunswick Ga, niece Libby and Ken Jones and their children Kip, Andy and Lucy and niece Julie Hughes .Her sister Mary Jo McCoy, niece Leslie Deakins and nephew Jeff Johnson and her 5 cats, which the CatRangers have promised to find very good homes for...Thank you Jane, for so many things!

Janes memorial service will be at 10:00 am Saturday February 24th at the Ingram Funeral home located at 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, Ga 30040 followed by the spreading of her ashes in the North Georgia Mountains.
