Janet Louise McClarigan

Janet McClarigan, 72, of Cumming, passed away August 17th after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles F. and Sarah Boyd May.

She is survived by a sister, Hazel of Cumming and a brother, Leonard of Clarksville, TN. She was born in Lancaster, PA and has lived in Cumming for the past 16 years.

She was active in her church, the Piecemakers Quilt Guild where she made many lap quilts for nursing homes. She also enjoyed making hats and booties for newborns at Northside Forsyth Hospital. Her working career was spent as a cashier in retail venues.

There will be a memorial service at North Lanier Baptist Church on Saturday at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abba house in her name.
