Janie Zell Brumbelow

Janie Zell (Pruitt) Brumbelow Janie Zell Brumbelow, 71, of Dawsonville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. Janie started her career at Sears Corporate office in Atlanta before moving on to the Forsyth Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Cumming, GA and rounded out her career with Reliance Heating and Air Cumming, GA. She loved the mountains, the ocean and lighthouses. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Rev. Jack Pruitt and Sallie Jackson Pruitt, sisters, Barbara Pruitt Anderson, Bonnie Pruitt White, Peggy Sue Pruitt and brother, Gerald Pruitt.

Janie is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Robert L. Brumbelow, son and daughter -in-law Robbie and Tiffney Brumbelow, daughter and son-in-law Karen and David Motley. Son Allen Brumbelow and daughter Jennifer Brumbelow. Grandchildren, Brittany Samples, Makenzie Brumbelow, Kaitlyn Motley, Jessie Brumbelow and Bryce Motley, brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Ronald and Annette Pruitt and sister Judy Dockery and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 01, 2025, at Sawnee View Gardens.
