Janie C. Bell

Janie C. Bell, age 63, of Lumpkin County, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. She was a lifelong member of New Harmony Baptist Church and loved singing, her church, cooking, baby sitting, watching birds and flowers. Janie was the best mother, sister, grandmother and friend; she loved everyone she met and everyone she met loved her. Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Bell; and parents, Rual and Alice Cox. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Bobby Lutz of Free Home; sons, Chris Bell and Jonathan Daniel Bell both of Dahlonega; grandson, Trevor Joseph Lutz; brothers and sister, Joe Cox of Ball Ground, Jimmy Cox of Canton and Lottie Bell of Free Home; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow in Auraria Community Cemetery in Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
