Jawad Atrache

Jawad Atrache, 73, of Cumming, GA, died in Cumming, GA, on December 28, 2023. He was surrounded by his beloved family.

He was born in Lebanon on January 30, 1950, to his father, Naeem Al Atrache and his mother, Hoda Al Atrache. In Lebanon, he loved swimming and was a swimming coach. He moved to Finland in his 20s. While there, he immigrated to the United States due to his work with Delta Airlines, becoming a world traveler.

"Joe," as he was known by his family, was preceded in death by his parents, and survived by his wife, Homa Atrache, his son and his son's wife, Salman Gerami and Leah Goodson-Gerami, his daughter, her husband, and their son, Nazanin Taleghani, Amir Taleghani, and Arsha Taleghani, his son, Sepher Gerami, and several brothers, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at his home on January 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please come and share any wonderful memories of Joe you have with his friends and family.
