Jean Strickland

Flora Jean Strickland, age 66, of Cumming, GA, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. Jean will be remembered as a great and loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Strickland; parents, Emmett and Dorothy Watson; and brother, Larry Watson.

Survivors include her children, Scott (Meshka) Bailey, Lance (Heather) Strickland, and Karen (Clint) Underwood; grandchildren, Samuel, Jeremiah, Brendan, Kristian, Chase, Maggie and Eleanor; brothers, Donald (Linda) Watson, and David (Melanie) Watson; along with several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Mrs. Strickland will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Michael Spurr, and Rev. Danny Spurr. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to Family Haven, 598 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming, GA, 30040, in memory of Jean.
