Jeffrey Scott Ford

Jeffrey Scott Ford, 53, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Scott was a faithful follower of Christ. He was a loving son and brother, and a loyal friend. A talented musician, Scott grew up in Kingsport, TN where he developed his love for bluegrass music. Prior to his illness, Scott worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Ford of Cumming; his father, Donald Ford of Tallahassee, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Rick Skelley; a nephew, Nicholas Skelley, all of Cumming as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Scotts life will be held Saturday, December 14, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Biddy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
