Jerry Thomas Honea

Jerry Thomas Honea was a leader in his family, who he loved deeply and supported without hesitation until his last breath. He cherished his wife and soul mate, Glenda, and his son, Larry. He was sweet and kind like his father and strong and stubborn like his mother. He loved his community and being an electrician for 60 years with The Electrical Brotherhood Local 613. He was always proud of his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Fannie Bell Honea.

He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Honea; son, Larry Honea; grandchildren, Meagan Honea, Chad Honea; great grandson, Forrest Brannon; nieces, nephews, friends and other family.

Funeral services will be on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. The interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Milton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
