Jerry W. Humphries

Jerry W. Humphries, age 62 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Jerry loved his 4 grandchildren and loved his church family. He was an avid deer and coon hunter and enjoyed muscle cars. Survivors include his wife, Janis Humphries of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Elizabeth Humphries of Atlanta, Adam and Lyndsey Humphries of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Davey Gravitt of Cumming; brother, Ricky Humphries of Marietta; grandchildren, Davis and Dawson Gravitt, Tyler Humphries and Jackson Humphries; and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13th at 2:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Shad Faulkner and Rev. Fred Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
