Jessica Ahren Conrad Thomasson, 39, of Forsyth County, Georgia, died peacefully in her sleep April 5th. She was born December 18, 1984, in Albany, Georgia, to her mother, Sherry T Conrad, of Albany, Georgia, and her late father, Steven J Conrad, of Atlanta, Georgia.
Jesse was a wonderfully loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She had a beautiful smile and a heart as big and bright as the sun. She was kind and generous to a fault, caring for all as if they were her family.
Jesse met and married the man of her dreams, Michael Thomasson, in Cumming, Georgia, in August 2006. Their family expanded quickly with the birth of Christopher, Jackon, Tanner, and Cooper. Jesse loved each of her children beyond measure and was beloved in return. Family was everything to Jesse. They were her world.
Jesse was an avid outdoors person. She was a consummate angler, learning how to fish at the age of three. She hooked a trout by the tail and took off running away from the bank with her cane pole, dragging the fish behind her. That innate outdoor spirit stayed with her all her life. She loved the lake life and taught her boys to love it too. She loved all animals. Jesse and Michael developed quite a menagerie consisting of 21 chickens, 8 ducks, 5 rabbits, 2 dogs and a cat.
In addition to her husband and children, Jesse is survived by her mother Sherry Conrad, of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her great-aunt Sara Bannister of Warner Robins, Georgia; her uncle and aunt, Clint and Sarah Almond of Winterville, Georgia; cousins, Missy Brown of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tony Tedrick of Macon, Georgia, and Chelsea Moorleghen, of Johnson City, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tanner Conrad, in 2015 and her father, Steve Conrad, in 2021.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 2pm through 6pm. A celebration of life will be on Sunday, April 14, at 2pm.
