Jewell Strickland

Jewell Strickland, age 92 of Dawsonville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Strickland; daughter, Marion Patricia Williams. Survivors include her children, Gene and Betty Strickland of Dawsonville, Mary Scott of Dawsonville, John Strickland of Dawsonville, Janice Strickland of Dawsonville; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerral Richards and Rev. Wendell Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
