JoAnn Mincey

JoAnn Mincey, age 78, of Cumming, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016, surrounded by her family. JoAnn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a gracious Southern lady with a passion for gardening, decorating, holidays, and especially her family. She was the heart of her family and will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Elizabeth Bowen; brother, Wade Bowen. JoAnn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Kenneth Mincey of Cumming; children, Donna Mincey of Gainesville, Roger (Dawn) Mincey of Dahlonega, Kevin (Gina) Mincey of Cumming; brothers and sisters, Bobbie Whittington of Atlanta, Bruce Bowen of Baxley, Colleen Davis of Baxley, Kathleen (Edsel) Bullard Baxley, Faye Gray of FL, Truman and Evone Bowen of Baxley, Rita Taylor of Baxley; grandchildren, Morgan Mincey, Bowen Mincey, Caitlin Collins, Cassidy Collins; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bernice Hires of Stone Mountain, Berry Howell of Jesup, Dennis (Michelle) Howell of Cumming, Patricia Bowen of Jacksonville ,FL. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from the hours of 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
