Joanne Turner Tallant Wood

Joanne Turner Tallant Wood, 75, of Cumming passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. Joanne was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. A Baptist by faith she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Edwin Tallant.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Gene Tallant, Rachael DeAnne and Curt Isbell and Thomas Milton (Tommy) and Kimber Tallant; grandchildren, Brandy Tallant, John Thomas (J.T.) Tallant, Andrew and Ashlee Nichols and Thomas Cale and Felicia Tallant; great grandchildren, Ellee Nichols, Kinslee Nichols and Caroline Tallant; sisters, Sue Heard and Ruby Roper; brother, Jack Turner; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
